Affiliate disclosure
This page says precisely where the commercial links are, because a vague disclosure is not a disclosure. There is one, in one place, and it is described below in full.
Where the links are
Each of the 38 appliance pages ends with a block headed "Where to find this model". It contains a single outbound link, which runs a search for that model's brand and model code — on Amazon.com for the models sold there, and on Amazon.co.uk for the UK-only ones, because a Russell Hobbs or a Tower is not sold on the US store and the search would come back empty. Each link names the store it opens, on its face. It sits below the measurement table, below the sources, and it is labelled Affiliate link where it appears.
3 of those pages — the Cosori models sold in the UK — are the one exception: the link opens Cosori UK's own air fryer catalogue instead of an Amazon search, through the Awin affiliate network rather than Amazon Associates. Cosori's own site does not label its product pages by model code, so the link cannot point at one specific model without guessing — it opens their air fryer range instead, same principle as never inventing a product reference we do not have.
That is the complete list. No link on any food page, guide, comparison, calculator or format page is commercial. No measurement, no appliance and no brand is on this site because of a commercial relationship — the appliance list is built from which manuals could be obtained and verified, which is set out in how we test.
What it earns
The 3 Cosori UK links earn through Awin, separately from the rest. Right Cook Time joined Cosori UK's own affiliate programme on Awin — a real commission relationship with that one retailer, not an automatic network like the one below. If you buy after following one of those links, this site may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you.
Possibly a small commission, through Skimlinks. Right Cook Time is not enrolled in the Amazon Associates programme, so these links carry no Amazon tracking tag of our own. They do pass through Skimlinks, which turns a retailer link into an affiliate one automatically where it has a relationship with that retailer — so a purchase may earn this site a commission. It costs you nothing extra: the price is the same as if you had searched yourself.
Your sources are not part of this. Skimlinks would happily monetise every outbound link on the site, and many of the manuals we cite sit on manufacturer shops that sell direct. Every citation link therefore carries rel="noskim", which switches Skimlinks off for that link specifically, without exception. A source that earns money is not a source, and this site would have nothing left to offer if that line moved.
Why it cannot influence the data
Not as a promise — as a matter of how the site is built. Every cook time and temperature comes from a specific page of a specific manufacturer manual, cited with the date it was retrieved. There is no ranking, no score and no "best pick" anywhere on this site, so there is nothing for a commission to move. Appliances are listed alphabetically or by the figure being compared, and where their manuals contradict each other, that contradiction is published rather than resolved.
The one figure that never comes from a manufacturer at all is the safe internal temperature: those are USDA values, and a manual that disagrees with them is recorded as disagreeing, not followed.
No prices, deliberately
You will not find a price, a discount, an availability status or a star rating anywhere on this site. Amazon's own terms only allow an Associate to display a price obtained from a live API call, shown with the timestamp it was fetched at; this site has no such access and publishes no price rather than a stale one. Any price you see for an appliance you found here is the retailer's, read on the retailer's own page, at the moment you look at it.
What we will not do with these links
- Put one in an email, a newsletter, a PDF or a printable card. Amazon's terms forbid Special Links in printed material, ebooks and mailings, and we would not want them there anyway — anything that leaves this site links back to a page of this site.
- Attach one to a source citation. Several appliance records cite an Amazon product page as evidence for a specification. Those links are untagged and stay that way: a citation that earns money stops being a citation.
- Word it as a recommendation. The link says where to look for a model you were already reading about. It does not say it is a good one, and this site has no basis on which to say so — nothing here is a review.
Advertising, which is separate
The site may also carry display advertising from a third-party network. That is unrelated to the link above, ad slots are marked Advertisement where they appear, and what those networks may set on your device is covered by the cookie policy and the privacy policy.
